It appears though I have been unable to confirm this, that the bcmlw update blacklisted all broadcom drivers.
Once testing of the upstream kernel is complete, please mark this bug as “Confirmed”. I finally solved the problem by using the b44 driver and not only blacklisting wl but uninstalling bcmwl and broadcom- sta-common. After that wired network should work after reboot.
